Materials we use & Options we offer...

We enjoy working with woods of all types, domestic and imported. Some are Certified Biblical (Bethlehem Olive Wood), others are from certified reclaimed Historic sources (Christ Church College Great Hall at Oxford University) - The Site of many Scenes from the Harry Potter movies, and still others are just really, really, REALLY old (Ancient Bog Oak).
-*-
Our vacuum stabilizing and pressurized casting processes allow us to combine certain woods - even otherwise unusable woods - with resins for a truly one-of-a-kind hybrid piece.. We also enjoy mixing colors, perhaps adding glow in the dark pebbles, a touch of metalflake, chameleon or flip-flop paint additives - just because we can. :-)

Other natural media include Deer, Elk, and Caribou Antler, Buffalo Horn, and Snake Skin, not to mention Sea Shells, Pine Cone, Acorn Shell, Peanut Shell, and Beach Sand.
-*-
Food items such as pasta shapes, coffee beans, and even dry cereal can be cast in resin and make an unlikely yet attractive unique writing instrument.

In the sandbox, so to speak, we are exploring with some success thus Automotive and Household Latex Paints as coloring agents. Car Sales Professionals and Enthusiasts, Realtors and homeowners take note!! Pens to color-match your custom ground-up rebuilt hot rod? Exterior color of that half-million dollar home you just helped someone purchase? We can make it happen.
-*-
Items of personal importance, such as "Baby's First Haircut" or "first Tooth-Fairy", or even Dog Tags, may be cast and preserved in clear or colored/tinted polyester resin. In these keepsake situations, we may be able to offer encasement (coaster? paperweight?) rather than a pen, as appropriate.
-*-
Unlikely items that can produce absolutely stunning works of art include Corian and Colored Pencils! Combinations of different woods, paired with soda cans or even used gift cards or expired [celebrate paying them off?] credit cards, and new for 2017, we have come into an abundant supply of [plastic] glow-in-the-dark colored "pebbles".
-*-
Beginning 1st Quarter 2017, we are now able to add engraving to even further personalize your new treasure, and in the near future we are on track to perfect our techniques and offer color-fill or colored laser printing on your custom treasure!
